Jim will be missed. I use to come in and have breakfast for years when I played high baseball at chino high school. He would always be gracious to me and say you pitched a great game this week. He always read the paper and had time for me. Then after several years I brought my wife in and when I walked in he said good morning Greg. I was shocked and honored he remembered me. Fly high Jim. Until we meet again

Jim was my district Manger at Thom McAn for several years and was a great mentor in teaching me the skills of how to be a good leader and manager. This was useful to becoming a top Executive and now owner in the Recycling Industry for 30 years. I will never forget his firm handshake and sense of humor and the scent of cigars he liked to smoke. He was a man with many stories and saw him in his movie star roles.

Just saw this and we offer our condolences. Jim was our dad's ( Domenic Saraceno) District Manager at Thom McAn. He managed the 3 stores on Broadway, downtown.
My memories of Jim, take me back to the annual Thom McAn picnics that he was in charge of. The employee baseball games and I think Jim was the pitcher. A huge thanks to my dear good friend Jim. He was an incredible friend who supported me early for political aspirations. He even let me hang huge banners from the side of his coffee shop. Jim was always there - always with a smile and firm handshake. I am so grateful to have met Jim. Amazing memories with him a Red Hill Coffee. Onward, my friend.

One of the most unique and funny personalities ever. Under that was a huge heart who cared a lot for people!!!

I knew Mr. Moffatt as the "Big Wig" for Thom McAns Shoe. He used to come to the Fontana store on Foothill and Palmetto. He was very kind to this young girl back in 1976 and showed me how to have the "window display" look beautiful. My deepest sympathies to his family. Denise
