James Watson Mohler Sr.

Mr. James Watson Mohler, Sr., 67, wife of JoAnn Legg Mohler and a resident of Parksley, VA, formerly of Frederick, MD, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. Born on September 24, 1941, in Frederick, MD, Mr. Mohler was the son of the late Boyd Watson Mohler and Mary Catherine Hale Mohler. He was a bricklayer and served his country as an M.P. in the U.S. Army. Other than his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Robin Ann Sharpley and husband Rodney of Pocomoke, MD and Karen Justis and husband Benjamin Thomas of Quinby, VA; two sons, James Watson Mohler, Jr. of Eden, MD and Jason Drew Mohler and wife Karen of Pocomoke, MD; four sisters, Audrey Smith, Frances Godfrey, Connie Hurst and Patsy Burkhead; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Thomas Mohler. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Mohler. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the family at P.O. Box 1, Parksley, VA 23421.
