Not sure what to say?

I am really going to miss this wonderful friend whom I have known for many years. Jim sent me a personal letter last November 2020 when he found out our Mother Mrs. Eddie Mae Towles had passed on to glory. I will always cherish his personal words in my letter to comfort my grieving. One day we will meet again. Those were Jim's words to me, as one day I will look forward to the great reunion. What a friend Jim Montgomery was to many.

I was privileged to interact with Jim for many years due to our positions with Gregg County. I always enjoyed visiting and talking to Jim. He was a kind, caring person. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

A great man that was one of a kind. Good Lord does not make them like this anymore. Was friends to everyone and well liked by all who cross paths with him. Will be miss for sure.

Mr. Montgomery was my principal at Ware Elementary. I have many fond memories of him from that time and then as an adult from his work in the community. May he Rest In Peace and the perpetual light shine upon him.

Worked with him while at Gregg Co. Sheriffs Dept., he was such a great man and personable and reliable.

Mel, John, Mark, and SAM, Prayers for you all as you grieve the loss of your great father and grandfather. Rest In Peace, Jim. We´ll miss you more than you will ever know. Sherry Moore-Molpus
