Dear Barbara and Linda. I was truly saddened to learn of your dad's passing. I know all of will surely miss him. As a ww 2 comrad, I know he had a rough time during the Bulge. I have always had a lot of respect for him and his service to his country. His love for his wife, Mary, was always evident. May he rest in peace.

So very sorry to read of his death. I was hoping to speak to him of his WWII memories. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him.

Rebecca Mooneyhan

Barbara,
It seems that his passing was a peaceful one. It still must be hard to let him go. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Jim's family members: I am sad to know that he has left us. I was one of the many members of the same Master Gardener's class in which Jim took part. We all shared much rapport and much interest in gardening and he and I often spoke of his time in service, since my husband was also Army.
You are fortunate to have had such a fine father, and it was a pleasure to know him. My thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Ellen Clark, Charleston, S.C

Barbara and Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. You are both in my prayers. I don't know if you remember me from Girl Scout Camp and then Columbia College, but I have fond memories of both of you.
