Mr. Moore was the most influential teacher I ever had - I would even extend that to say the most influential person in my young life. He was a gentle man of the highest integrity; such a loving, caring soul and my sister and I were blessed to have him as a teacher and guide. Certainly anyone who had him in their lives has been blessed by his mentoring and friendship and now with wonderful memories of a very special person. My deepest condolences to the family he loved so dearly.

OMG, I am so very sorry for your loss. I connected with Jim as a substitute teacher at Bartlett. I was a French major, therefore, we had that in common. Jim was a wonderful, warm, caring human being. He loved his job/students more than most. Jim was so invested in his ability to positively influence his students, he inadvertently influenced me to become a full time French teacher. I only hope that he knew the extent of his influence. He was a truly good man!
