Not sure what to say?

My heart broke tonight, as I searched for Dr. Morris and found word of his passing in 2019. He was the first person I met at Christopher Newport University and became my advisor. His office was a refuge, his classes tough as nails, his smile mischievous and contagious, and his heart dedicated to knowledge, his students, and his family. Your dad and grandfather was a GREAT history professor! I graduated from CNC in Dec 1975, and although I majored in English, I was actually certified to teach history also because of the classes I took under Dr Morris and another history prof. He was also a great department head. My sympathies to you all.
