James E. Morrow Sr.

James E. Morrow Sr., 86, of Niles, MI., passed away at 10:20 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 in his residence. Jim was born on March 25, 1926 in South Bend, IN., to Samuel and Lillian (Weaver) Morrow. On November 28, 1953 in Mishawaka, IN., James married Ruth R. Kemerling. Ruth survives along with a daughter, Lynne (Larry) Livengood of Niles, MI., a son, James E. Morrow Jr., of Niles MI., five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Jim retired from Honeywell (Bendix) in 1986 after 20 years of service and he was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. being honorably discharged in 1946. Jim enjoyed flying planes and camping. Jim liked his World War II movies. He was a Mr. Fix It man and an engine mechanic as well as a carpenter. Being with his family was important to him. He is greatly loved and greatly missed. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka where funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 with Pastor Larry Livengood officiating the services with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
