Not sure what to say?

Jim was my teacher in 1973, when he taught design at SUNY Binghamton / Binghamton University. An inspiring and thoughtful man. I was lucky to be introduced to architectural studies through his guidance and advice. Some years ago I looked him up, found his email address, and corresponded with him from time to time. I let him know I still thought about his ideas and his approach, in my work as an architectural educator, as he had explained and demonstrated for me many years before . . . he will...

I am saddened to hear of Mr. Mowry's passing. He was a fine gentleman and gifted Architect. His vision and perseverance are reflected by his many fine buildings throughout the Southern Tier. Although he was not able to hire me back in 1968, he provided me with a lot of advice which has served me well.

To Jim's family my sincerest condolences. I still remember Jim from my days of working in Stephens Square in Binghamton, which was one if his wonderful projects.

So sorry to hear this news. I was always hoping to catch Jim in his office in the Kilmer building. So many of my memories of my early years in Binghamton have Jim Mowry's name attached to them, especially the good times we had at Stephen's Square. How proud this fine man must have felt about his legacy in our town and the accomplishments of his children.

Very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was fortunate to have known him in his prime. He was a handsome, witty and talented man and forever will be remembered. My Love and blessings to each of the Mowry children and their families.

May God be with you and your family

I am sorry for your loss and may God be with you and your family

Our condolences to the family. I fondly remember our visits to Oquaga Lake in the summer.

Gina,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. You and your family are in my thoughts. He and his work are so important to the City of Binghamton and will remain so in the future.
