To Mary and family,
What an honor and delight to have known Jim Muir! Jim and Mary were the first people we met at St. James, because they spotted us right away and came right over, big grins on their faces and hands outstretched! And I later heard that this was many others' first experience of the church as well, and this first impression was the one that made us come back. Nor did the grins and outstretched hands cease... Jim always had a hug waiting and both Muirs' hands must have...

Mary, I know you will miss Jim. I also know that you wouldn't call him back if you could. He is in a much better place and no longer suffering. If you ever need anything, or just someone to talk to I am here for you.

Joy and I are so sorry for your loss. James is a good man who loved the Lord and served the Him with gladness as long as he could.

MY DEAR MARY: WE LOVED JIM SO VERY MUCH. YOU TWO ARE JUST PLAIN FAMILY TO US AT ST JAMES. YOUR FAMILY IS HERE FOR YOU. WE LOVE AND WE WILL MISS JIM SO VERY MUCH. HE WAS SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ME AND MY DAUGHTER.
