JAMES F. MULVANEY

So many times I have wished we could have had a conversation. Jim you were one of San Diego's greatest behind the scenes assets.

I try to teach students to pick inspiring models. None is more worthy of selection than Jim Mulvaney. I knew him and admired him from the late 1970s to his regrettable passing. I was so astounded about the news of your father's passing. My heart goes out to you and your family. What an incredible man your father was to so many of us. Giving unselfishly, positive and thoughtful are immeasurable, when thinking of all that he contributed. I still fondly recall his help when started Children's PKU Network. He has left a legacy with you and David and his grandchildren.
