Not sure what to say?

Imiss my long time friend,i know the lord is taking care of jim,Don Mac Mc Conkey

I just learned of Jim's passing from the Williams College remembrance page, and I wanted to send my love and deepest condolences to Connie and the rest of the Murphy family. I first met Jim in a jungle on Montserrat, where, despite his various health issues, he led a merry band of hikers on a bushwacking adventure including swinging on jungle vines and descending a mudslide! So memorable. Over the years since, when our paths crossed (too few times!) on island, I loved how he introduced us...

Jim was a great supporter of the Town of Greenfield. He was a great advisor to a new Supervisor and will be missed by the Town and his family. It was always great to run in to him and the Family at the Fire House breakfasts and catch up.

Jim was such a pleasant kind neighbor ! He was always smiling !! He will be missed at the lake

To the Murphy Family, My sincere condolences to you at this difficult time. Having worked with Jim at the Town of Greenfield, I gained so much respect for him. He lived a full life of service. May God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time. Jane

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Murphy, Jim, Colleen and Connie on the loss of Mr. Murphy. My prayers are with all of you; I have the fondest memories of your family and will be thinking of you.

Friend, mentor, confidant, cheerleader and guide, he was all these things to me. Lake Desolation will never be the same. I am so sorry for your loss !

Connie__honorable judge Jim and rest of family__i am so sorry to hear of Jim s passing. Your family and mine had a lot of history together over many years. I ll keep you all in my prayers during this most difficult time.

Jim fostered our love of hiking in Montserrat. Such a fun and humble man. Grateful to have known him.
