Not sure what to say?

Fort Worth has lost a great man.
It was my joy and priviledge to
have known him at River Crest C.
C. May God comfort his family and
many friends. Absent from the body,
together with the Lord.

Dr. Murphy was my primary physician from the day I was born til the day he retired. I have yet to find a doctor that I have liked so much, and I probably never will. He'll be terribly missed.

I loved Dr. Murphy. He took care of my whole family from the time I was about five years old (1955). His smiling face as he entered the examination room would relieve any fears of "going to the doctor". He allowed patients to visit his office when sick and wait their turn until seen. We didn't have to make an appointment three weeks in advance or go the emergency room. How I miss those days!
Thank you for allowing your father the time away from you to touch so many lives healing the...

Snuff and Murf were a big part of our early life in Cowtown. They were the closest of friends to all our family for over 50 years. Both your parents and mine believe in raising a baby sitter, before the next "arrival". I don't know about the Murphy boys; but, I was never paid for my services.

I had the great pleasure and privilege to know and work with Jim after I entered practice here. He was a wonderful physician and person. The Lipscombs and the community will miss him.

I was so sorry to hear about you Dad! What wonderful childhood memories we shared! You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

So sorry to hear of Dr. Murphy's passing. Our condolences to his family and friends. Our prayers are with you in your time of sadness.

I am 65 years old and Dr. Murphy had been my doctor from the time I was twelve. He gave me my physical when I married. He delivered my last son thirty five years ago. He treated our entire family. He and my husband loved to talk golf. My mother refered to him, in his younger days, as the "Little banney rooster." When one of us would be in the hospital we always knew his walk as his heals clicked coming down the hall. I have so many fond memories through the years with him. He was a doctor...

I will remember Dr Murphy as the man that took care of our family, especially my mother. I have very fond memories of visiting the doctor back in the 60s as a young man in my early 20s. My condolences to his family.
