James "jim" Murray

Jim was truly a wonderful man, I was fortunate to have worked w/him for 11 of his 17 years at Huron & was so proud when he became Treasurer of Marion Twp. He always went above & beyond & never had to be asked twice. He was such an asset to our community & I will miss him. As the Treasurer of Huron I was able to stay connected w/Jim thru the MI Municipal Treasurers Assoc. & all his fellow MMTA associates will miss him & his wit & honesty. Jim worked at Huron Charter Township for 17 years and of those 17 years I had the pleasure of working with him for a little over 3 years. We had many laughs and good times as well as serving our community with humor especially the young children at Miller and Brown Elementary when we shared our careers with them on Career Day. He is sadly missed by all who knew and loved him best.
