Sue and I want to express our condolences to you as a family regarding Jims home going to be with our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, we know that Gods promises to us are true! I remember the interesting conversations I had with Jim and Shirley at TEI events throughout the years! Jim and my paths were very similar: starting our careers at the IRS (I was in IRS Counsels Office in DC and later as LB&I Commissioner), head tax director...

Hero is a term that is too loosely used. Jim was a hero, a hero who demonstrated a life of character. Jim was a man who earned respect and then, year by year, found ways to show that the respect placed in him was safe. In work or family or other associations, Jim was faithful and a model for others who desire to live faithfully, faithful to God, family and friends.
It is a comfort - and joy - to know that God's promise is true. This life is only a short preparation for the eternal life...
