Not sure what to say?

Dear Tina and family,

I just learned of Jim's passing today. Since the Ann Arbor years, I have moved on but I will always remember Jim. Roger said it well; Jim had a great sense of humor and was a team player. I believe he was a truly happy person who always had a smile. Clearly, this was due to a great family that he loved very much. I will never forget the grin he wore just after he retired and was behind the wheel of his Corvette. I'm still a little jealous!

"Big Jim" was one of the cool Dads. He told us jokes, listened to what we had to say, spent time with us in Scouts, at the pool, and taught us in Sunday School. A kind man with a good sense of humor and an always positive outlook on life - he set an example and made a difference in our lives. I am sorry my own kids will not get to meet him.
Peace Nawrocki Family.

Dear Tina, Greg, Tom and Families,

Reading of Jim's passing caused me to stop and reflect on the impact that he had on my early years at Parke-Davis and how he helped me in my adjustment from academic research to pharmaceutical R & D and moving to Ann Arbor from San Diego. "The Rock of Ann Arbor" (as I fondly called him) was not just a good friend and co-worker, but a critical thinker and scientist. I will never forget those days in the Athero Group at P-D working on Lopid (and...

Dear Tina,
Jim was always one of my favorite people at work. In the '80s, we both worked in the cardiovascular group. He was always smiling and had the best comedic timing. Only Jim could insult the coffee I made and get away with it! Even though I haven't seen him for a long time, he will always be smiling in my memory. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Greg -

I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Though I did not know him, it was my great fortune to come to know you. Having lost my father many years back, I remember the comfort of being told by so many of his friends how proud he was of me. You have accomplished so much in your life, I know how proud he must have been of you. Cherish that buddy. Your fathers life had great purpose, and you are a continuation of that.

Dear Nawrocki family:

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tina,

Jim and I were classmates and friends from 5th grade through high school in Niagara Falls, and though I hadn't seen him in many years, the memory of his kind and good nature, and great sense of humor, are still crystal clear. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Will miss him greatly. We go back a LONG way -- Cleveland Avenue school in Niagara Falls.

Dear Tina, Greg, Tom and Family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. The Nawrocki Family were our first close friends in Ann Arbor. It was a great joy watching our sons grow through the years attending Stone School functions, Cub and Boy Scouts and St. Francis Jim was a fine man.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
