John and Angela, you have our heartfelt condolences. Jimmy was a great person. He was a proud veteran of World War II, a fine journalist, and most of all, a warm, caring man. I was glad to have him as a friend, and I was proud to have him as the best man at my wedding. I have so many memories of Jimmy, and they're all good. He was a positive, friendly, genuine, and intelligent person, and he's going to be missed for a long time to come.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the staff and volunteers of the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, we would like to extend our deepest condolences for your loss. Please know the passing of your loved one is felt by all those who honor the Greatest Generation and their sacrifices.

R.I.P. James, GOD speed, thank you for your service!

I met your dad a long time ago at my Mom and Dad´s 50th wedding anniversary in 1996. What a lovely man! My dad passed in 2016. On behalf of our entire family, we send our condolences. I am part of an organization- Heritage League that keeps the legacy and memory of the 2nd Air Division alive and we will...
