Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of my good friend Jim just the other day - I miss his knowledge and expertise but especially miss his genuine goodness and friendship. How can it possibly be 21 years already? Again, til we meet on the Other Side... Godspeed Jim and May - you are together again and I´m sure you are continuing your love of genealogy work there...

It was my privilege to work with Jim for many years in the Bloomfield Family History Center. He was a faithful and tireless worker and an expert in many areas. He taught me alot. He had a following of patrons whom he helped and they adored him. As the former director, I appreciate everything he did to make the FHC a special place. We will miss him now and will look forward to that great reunion someday in a better place where illness can no longer touch him. My love and sympathy to all...

On the behalf of my People, I wish to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Nesbitt family.

On the behalf of the many Native American Indians that have found their family heritage as a result of Jim’s genealogical research - I thank him for his life’s work and contributions.

Our deepest sympathies to May and Jim's family. The genealogy world has truly lost a great resource and friend in Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at the Hartford Stake Family History Center for several years (Jim had volunteered there for decades!). He was such a knowledgable man, who freely gave his time and talents to so many people!! Outside of the family history center, Jim was a GREAT friend -- always knew the right story to tell to make someone smile & despite his health problems,...

My family would like to send our condolences to May and the rest of Jim's family. He is at peace now, his ailments will bother him no more. May God keep watch over the rest of his family and keep them in His care.
