Not sure what to say?

Jimmy was loads of fun. We all had the best time during my time with Dor co . You will always be remembered n greatly missed! May God keep all the family n friends tightly in his arms as they try to get through this ....

Reading through the messages, it's obvious that Jimmy reached people in all areas of life, as he did me. Even though our professions - law enforcement and news reporting - may have been at odds on occasion, Jimmy always treated me with respect and friendship, and got mine in return. Missy, I'm so sorry for your loss, but am glad you had your time together. My best to you and the family.

I am wishing God speed in your healing process Nettles family. Lean on the Lord in these difficult times and know that he will be missed.

Missy I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend. I know he was the light of your life and you will be lost without him. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Love, Donna and family

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to Dianne, Missy, Craig and the entire Nettles family. Jimmy was a cop's cop. I always enjoyed being around him and talking with him about law and life. He will be deeply missed.

Missy, I was there the moment you and Jimmy decided to start dating. It was like the clouds opened up your heart to happiness. The two of you were such an important part of my life during that time. I still think about times I spend with you at the MUSC Burn Clinic - such a long time ago. I'm very saddened by your loss. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Diane and family,
While I did not know Jimmy through you I felt very close to him.He well accomplished and thought of in the community and at the Citadel. My heart is with all of you, May you find comfort that the Lord needed an Angel to help Guard His flock! May you all be at peace in knowing that he is safe and will be watching over you. God Bless and know that I speak for all the Bivens and Browning family when I say your family was special to each of us!

Rest in Peace Captain Nettles. It was a pleasure working with you and i will miss our random conversations and debates in the parking lot first thing in the morning. It will be strange being the first person to arrive at work and not see you sitting in your car writing in your notepad while smoking a cigar. Taken too soon... Rest easy sir.

So sorry to hear this, he was a good guy,I remember him well as we were neighbors, we all played together, he was a family friend. Sending prayers to all his family...
