Not sure what to say?

I was one of the neighborhood kids on Green Creek Rd who Jim use to ride around in his jeep with Marsha and Jimmy. I'll always remember him scaring the heck out of us on the dunes behind the houses than he'd take us to Joe's for ice cream. "We kids" thought he was great"!

I didn't know Nick until a few years ago at a reunion. I was in the 23rd, K Company May 1952-May 1953. I drove a Jeep for our Company Commander the last nine month of my
tour in Korea. We missed him last year at the 2005 Reunion in Peoria.
I wish his family well in their sorrow during this Christmas season.

We extend our heartfelt condolensces. Sincerely, Dorothy and Chuck Rothenberg, 23rd Infantry Regiment, Korean War Branch

Growing up we always took vacations and when he retired they purchased a motorhome and traveled the country. He was contacted by one of his army buddies from Korea, from then they went to visit as...
