Not sure what to say?

I played high school football for West Morgan in the 70's and Mr Nipper ref many of our games. He was a kind and friendly ref. I know he will missed by his family and close friends.

It was with great sadness that we read of the passing of a dear Christian friend,Jim Nipper. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family during this time.

As President of the Alabama Umpire
Association is with deep sympathy
and remorse of the passing of our friend and umpire Jimmy.
Jim was respected as a friend and an umpire. His knowledge of the rules is what stood him apart from the rest.
It is so hard to say good-bye to someone you have known for so long and worked so many games with.
Jimmy has been such an asset to the association and he will be deeply missed.
Our prayers are with the family.

I played many games that Mr. Nipper officated in while at Decatur High School and also had the opportunity to coach in games which he officated. I always appreciated his smile, disposition and fairness. I might disagree and whine at him, he just smiled and went on. Jim, you will be missed. May God Bless the Nipper Family

Officiated football with Jim for many years.
