Not sure what to say?

Pastor Jim was among the best I have ever known. Godliness is important to me, and our beautiful brother was a kind and good man. His faithfulness and sacrifices made for the sake of the Lord are his legacy to the testimony of the Lord to his congregations who have loved him.

We were blessed to have been under the pastoral care of Paster Nixon. He was a wonderul teacher and we will always be thankful to have been sudents of the word and members of his congregation. Bonnie we are sorry for your loss, and we send our love and prayers to you and the boys. May you be surrounded with His peace and presence in the days ahead. Steve & Mary Porter and Family

Pastor Nixon…thanks for your faithful years of dedication to sharing Gods word. On your 56th birthday, you spent some of your time preparing us for our wedding day by conducting our rehearsal and, 4 days later, officiated the ceremony. You were blessed with an effective ability to reach people in your sermons, made them easy to follow and showed much compassion to all the patients you (and Randy) made hospital visits to see. Thank you again for the profound impact you had in our lives and may...

Ron and I are very saddened to hear of the death of Pastor Nixon. Dan, our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Pastor Nixon was our first pastor when we moved to Sylvania in 1979 and we know him to be the good and Godly man that he was. Always in our hearts for he was a loving and good pastor to us. He was a great man. Sanvus went to be with the Lord three years ago, and he is there reunited with our beautiful brother even now. What a joy to be in Christ! My heart is saddened by his going for I will miss him here, and I love dear Bonnie, and I know it will be a difficult time indeed for her to...

There is great rejoicing in heaven as one of God's children has gone home. Pastor Nixon gave so much to so many people and we are thankful to have been able to learn under this soldier for Christ.

What a wonderful man of God! A dear fellow southerner... Love & Prayers to Bonnie and family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bonnie, and all the family. We are deeply saddened by the loss of such a great and Godly man...but share in your hope and joy of knowing he is safe in the arms of Jesus. We so enjoyed our visit two weeks ago with you and Pastor. Thank you for allowing us...and my parents...to come and visit. It was a blessing to us. Pastor was loved by everyone who knew him and he blessed so many of us through his Biblical teaching and Godly example. He will be greatly...
