I was fortunate to have Jim as my first real boss when I worked for him at Chilton- I was a pharmacy student at the time and so Jim really showed me the ropes. He turned out to be much more than a boss and remained a mentor to me throughout the years. As luck had it, I joined Novartis too in 2004 and had the good fortune of reconnecting with Jim again. I WILL MISS HEARING HIS STORIES ABOUT CHILTON, WE HAD SOME GOOD TIMES TALKING ABOUT THE OLD & NEW HOSPITAL SYSTEMS.
MAY GOD BLESS HIM.

As a pharmaceutical rep it was always a pleasure to call on Jim. He was clinically knowledgeable and administratively proficient.

But the most important aspect of our relationship was his humanity. Most reps really looked forward to calling on Jim. He put on no airs.

We would discuss his studies and athletics at DeLasalle, St John's basketball (Alan Sieden and Tony Jackson). We would also talk about mutual acquaintances -- some good and some with overblown egos.
