Not sure what to say?

he was my football and track coach and math teacher at mbhs

So sad to hear this news of Jim´s passing. Jim was my coach for many years at Myrtle Beach HS, and offered me a great opportunity to serve as one of his life guards at H & N. The 3 years working for him and the other men at H & N changed my life in so many ways, and Jim was a great mentor to me. I´m sad that I did know of his passing from earlier this year, and hope his family is aware of the profound impact that Jim made in so many men´s lives over his years here. Rest in peace Jim,...

He was a great teacher, and had a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed his classes.

Jim was truly a great friend. He was my coach in high school, employer when I worked on the beach, and a true mentor. He really shaped my life in my younger days which made me the man I am today. I really wish I could have seen him more, but life gets in the way. Jim you will be missed, but know this, I always think of you and the way you shaped my life. Rest in peace brother. Rory Avant

Jim was an awesome person. We had our horses at the same stables. We bought a horse from him also. Thank you Jim for being a friend and mentor. Kim Gause Lewis
