I worked for Jim shortly before he left City Hall and there was something "very special" about him and noticeable to most.

My family members and I will forever remember the wonderful person he was and I will never forget the short time I had the privilege of knowing him.

Jim was a great man. I remember Jim living on Lyndale Avenue. We lived on Fairmount Avenue, with the park in between, and my mom knew Jim well from City Hall where my mom was Assistant City Clerk. Peace and comfort to his family.

So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. We were childhood friends. The last time I saw him, about three years ago, we caught up and he spoke about his wonderful family.
As long as I knew Jim, he never said an unkind word about anyone- he was truly an inspiration.
