Dear family, uncle Jim was always very special to me. When he was in the war, I was only ten years old but every week I would try to write him a letter. I do remember my dad and uncle Jim fishing down at mill creek. Fishing was a great part of his life. My love and sympathy to all the family. I am so sorry that I can not be there.
