Very sad to learn of Jim's passing. I went to Hamden High with Jim and Linda. My husband Lou and I also worked in the same building where Jim's law firm was. Our thoughts and prayers to his loving family.

I recently learned of the passing of Jim. We were great friends years ago while in high school.we of course went on are separate ways & I hadn´t seen or heard from him all these years. He was a great & loyal friend & I feel blessed to have had have him in my life. Great memories. God Bless!! My deepest condolences to his family. Jim DeVito

Jim & I grew up as neighbors and friends in Westville. We were in the first graduating class at St. Aedan's School in 1952. We were altar boys, sang in the choir and played on the first baseball and basketball teams and we entered Notre Dame High School together . Jim's wife Linda and my wife Ann were classmates at Hamden High School. We go way back. In recent years during my visits to the New Haven area we would meet with some of our St. Aedan's classmates for lunch and those were the best...

I sat on the Standards of Title Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association with Jim for many years. His smile, laugh and good humor could light up a room. He was a thoughtful, insightful and practical lawyer who loved the practice of law. We on the Standards Committee were sad when he retired, that we were losing him, but happy for him.
