Not sure what to say?

Father O'Brien will always live in a deep place in my heart reserved for true mercy, goodness, and lightness of spirit. He was beloved to me.

Father Jim was a big part of our family growing up. He is godfather to my sister Jean. He was a life long friend of my Dad- Jack Finlin and did his burial mass at St.Patricks some 8 years ago when my father passed. I remember him giving me a thumbalina doll for Christmas when I was around 8 years old. It was my best gift. He is remembered fondly and lovingly in our family and will be always. Our deepest sympathy to his loved ones. Joan Finlin and the Finlin Family.

Truly a great and gentle man of God. I am happy for the opportunity for the to have known and worked with him. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God console you in your loss and welcome him into everlasting peace and joy!

Dear Lucy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Fr. Jim was a great friend, priest & mentor. I treasure our days at KSU! Love to all.

Thoughts and prayers out to the O'Brien, Sandercock and Ginley families from the Cachat's. So many good times at Harsen's Island!

Louise, I am sorry to learn of Fr. O'Brien's passing. We met him when we visited our friend Br. Pachomius@ Trappist,KY. My deepest condolences to you.
