Not sure what to say?

Dear Alice, Patrick and Charlie, So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a big man with a big personality when we were students together at Duke. I am sure your house was full of laughter and love. The Newman Center at Duke gave us a group of wonderful friends who shared lots of good times and lots of pizza and beer. I will toast him with a cold one tonight. Please accept my sincere condolences. Sue Wells

I am sorry for your loss, and send condolences especially to Alice, Patrick, Charlie, Nancy, and Chris. I knew Jim at Duke when we were members of the Newman Club. That group was like a family, and especially during the days when Fr. Leo was our chaplain. Our family is deeply saddened by the news of Jim's passing and we are so sorry for your loss. Time spent growing up with Patrick and Charlie along with the entire O'Donnell family are at the core of my childhood growing up in St. Louis and hold a very special place in my heart. Please know that Jim will be greatly missed and never forgotten by so many people that he made an impression on throughout his life. Each of you are in our prayers, may God bring healing and peace to you all.

Alice and family, I´m so sorry for your loss. You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

Alice and family, you are in our prayers as you mourn the death of Jim. We are honored to have been your neighbors for years on Stillhouse Crk. Rd. Starting our little families together, the Kentucky Derby parties you hosted, the Duke v. Carolina rivalry, and the character that oozed from Jim and Alice, all that and so much more has left a permanently etched and wonderful place in our hearts. May God Bless You All. Go, Duke!

Alice and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Mary SJA ´78
