You have lost someone special...someone who made a lasting difference in your world and in your heart. My husband Dr. Carlos E. Caban(1942-2017) worked side by side with Jim at the NIH. Both Carlos and Jim were ROMEO's(Retired Old Men Eating Out) which met one a month, dining at local Rockville restaurants; a lot of conversation and laughter.
