Not sure what to say?

For some reason, while cooking a meal today, in the distant year of 2024, I was reminded of the meal I anonymously cooked for Mr. O´Leary and left on his doorstep, soon after Mrs. O´Leary passed away. I imagine no one who reads this knows who I am; but I, and my old friend Heather, were two twenty-somethings renting the downstairs of Mr. and Mrs. O´Leary´s home on Nurembega St. in Cambridge. We loved that home and we loved our dear landlords upstairs. I often pondered how such a kind...

Dear Kathy, Barbara, Steve, Tim, Peggy,

Mark and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of a great man, your Dad. He was one of the nicest, kindest and thoughtful person we have ever met.
Kathy, all through our teen years as being friends, one of my fondest memories of your Dad was that whenever I was at your house he would always strike up a conversation with me. He had such a great sense of humor, and smiled all the time.

Your wonderful memories will help you...

To: Tim, Kathy, Peggy, Barbara and Steve..I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad...may the memories you share help to get you through this difficult time...God Bless you at this time and always...Love Missy

Kathy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I always considered your Dad to be one of the “Good Guys”. Always remember the good times that you had with him over the years and he will never be gone.

Mr. O'Leary,
Sir, as fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Cambridge when you served with the CPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Steve, and all the O'Leary Family.
Your Dad was a true gentleman and it was always uplifting to see his smiling face.
As your brother Jimmys' BC High friend and classmate it must have been difficult for your Dad to see me , to be reminded of his own son's tragic death. He never gave me a hint of anything but warm and friendly greeting the few times over the years that we met.
Please accept my Sincere Condolences at this Time of Loss.
God Bless You and Your Family.
