We remember how fun it was to share Champaign and talk politics. He was fun to tease about issues even as we agreed with him. His wit and intelligence and humor were always a welcome respite and will be so missed. His art drew us to his studio to peek in to see what he was working on at that moment. Bob, who loves abstract, LOVED everything he painted. He was also a kind person, that I will remember the most.
