My grandmother Mary Hynes (Mary Lee) also came from Ireland. She used to talk about this goofy guy who she became friends with when she was younger. I think he tried to court her but my stubborn sassy Grandma played a little hard to get. She always talked glowingly about the guy, and there was no doubt he had a heart of gold. Like Jim she travelled from Ireland to London to Canada to Syracuse. I tried searching like hell to see if I could find him. Randomly I stumbled across this today,...
