Not sure what to say?

In late 1960´s, my mom would invite the priest over for dinner in Fort Worth. Father O toole was my favorite. He would tell me about these turtles he would see crossing the road, and I would ask him to bring me one. He never did. My nickname for him became Father Turtle. He remained very close to my mom and our family. He was an awesome individual and a good friend. To me, he represented who a real follower of Christ is. Our lives are better because he existed

Rest in Peace my old friend and favorite priest that I loved so so much!!! You were a blessing in my life. Love, Vivian

We got to know Fr. Jim through CFCA outreach programs in parishes around Illinois and Indiana. He was an inspiration to us and a wonderful friend to share a meal and conversation.

Fr. Jim, you will be remembered as a loving, caring person who served many. Your service to the members of St. Vincent de Paul parish in Arlington TX was appreciated. You taught us to honor others, do the right thing, and to revere the holy Eucharist. During mass, you would say "This is Jesus" like no other priest did. Thank you Jim for being part of my life. May God Bless You and May Your Soul Rest in Peace.

Beautiful Spirit Arrangement

Father Jim OToole was a wonderful priest and friend of both my deceased husband and I for many many years. He is now in Heaven with Jesus and my beloved husband and daughter who he assisted at both their funerals at St. Michael Church in Bedford. I was also one of those patients he came all the way to Baylor Hospital 20 years ago for the month I was there every Sunday to pray for me and bring me the blessed sacrament of communion. We loved him and were so sad when he left St. Michael. ...
