Not sure what to say?

We've known the Obers since they moved into our neighborhood over 20 years ago. We'll always remember Jim for his friendship and many kindnesses. Ken and Jim had a lot in common; they shared an enthusiasm for vehicles and home improvements. We're senior citizens and when he saw us struggling to paint the high spots on our home, Jim was kind enough to come over and help out. He shoveled our snowy driveway many times and helped us and our daughter with our cars. Often, we'd look out into our...

As the Services budget analyst I had the pleasure of working with Jim. We always tried to help each other out and Jim was always there for me when I had car questions/problems. The last time I saw him he fit a tire repair into his busy day for my teenage daughter's car. Jim was the greates "pay attention to detail" managers the USAFA has encountered. His expertise, honesty, and caring will be greatly missed. Jim did not know a stranger. Our prayers are with you and your family in this time of need. God bless you all.

Cookie and Jamey,

I pray the Lord, family and good friends will help you get throught this time of pain and sorrow.

May my Brother Jim rest in peace,

Terri

I've known Jim since 1990 as Manager of the USAF Hobby Shop. I always appreciated his concern for his customers and his helpful attitude. Jim always spoke fondly of his family. Sincere sympathy to the family. Jim will be missed.

Jim was a good example of loyalty, kindness, dedicated and faithfulness. These things we all need to remember and hold close to our hearts. Everyone could tell he cherished his loving wife and only son. Jim was the kind of person we will never forget. God Bless.
