Saddened at the loss of a great friend. CONDOLENCES from my heart to James' family. I had the good fortune to play ball with Jim as well as work with him at the County Detention center. He was a soft spoken man who kept his composure with angry youths and calmly got his message across. THANKS FOR THE LESSONS UNCLE JIM. You will be missed but NEVER forgotten.. R.I.P....

Thanks for affirming that Mr. O. was an athlete @ West Side H.S. Played basketball against him in summer league in Vailsburg "c" 1959, where he dominated us... but did not rub it in. As you said, very nice & classy guy.

I lived across the street from Jimmy in Newark. We would walk to West Side High each day. He was a very good athlete. But most important he was a first class guy. Sorry we lost contact over the years.
