Not sure what to say?

I continue to remember my high school days with Jimmy Olson. Another of Jim's admirers was Frank Perpich. About six months ago Frank (AKA Mr. Perpich - assistant wrestling coach and Biology teacher) and I had some conversation about our days with Jimmy Olson. He couldn't say enough about how proud the wrestling staff was of Jim. It doesn't surprise me a bit. (Frank is retired and currently living in Crosby, MN.). Jim is remembered and will always be remembered. Tom Brown

Remembering Jimmy Olson is quite easy. We had four great years together on the wrestling team at White Bear High. As mentioned previously, Jim was my mentor for those four years. I regret losing contact with him after graduation. The Olson family: please accept our love from Livvie and Tom Brown.

Class describes Jim's achievements.Wrestling, business and family.I consider it a privilege to have known him.I will always remember our matches and softball games Rollie Rank

I was always so proud that my uncle Jim was the fire chief of Hugo. My fondest memories of my childhood were of thanksgiving's in Hugo spending time with such a wonderful family and the best role model a young guy could look up to. I'll miss one of my favorite uncles and his kind heart.

We sure had fun at softball tournaments and parties. The good old days. I enjoyed your children in school plus coaching them! Bless you. Jeff

All my memories of Jim will be fond, he was always very nice and welcoming whenever I would see him up at the cabin or Cross Lake, always well dressed and handsome when him and Ruth were on there way somwhere, unless he was out working on many of his projects he always kept himself busy at. So sorry for your loss. Shari Clymer
