Not sure what to say?

I worked at the Bon Marche from 1991-2001 and Jim was a great man. He will be missed! Heidi Knauer Freeman

I met Jim at the age of 17 when I began my first 'real' job at the Northgate Bon. He was, above all else, a character of unending proportions. Like many others, I have numerous wickedly funny stories about him..he will be truly missed.

I have had the honor to work with Sir James at the Bon/Macys since 1986. He was such a character; very comical and very loveable and yes naughty too (you all have stories I'm sure). I will certainly treasure all those memories and will smile each time I think of him. Thank you for making me laugh. We will miss you Sir James.

I was an employee at the Bon Marche with Mr. Orr for a few years and he was just much fun to work with. He really brought cheer to our days and was an awesome person. He will be missed. We had many fun and crazy times with him causing mischief as I am sure you can all imagine. Cheers to you Mr. Orr

I
haven't seen Jim for a long time but treasured his yearly Christmas cards
and have fond memories of numerous shows we did together......Oliver, Boys
From Syracuse, Matchmaker. James Rodney was a gentleman and a scamp.

Jim was an absolute prince on and offstage. His warmth and sincerity were a joy to experience, and his love of the theater was infectious. My fondest memories are of the Mary Levine benefit, with his dazzling jacket sparkling and his ringing voice declaring "Welcome to the theater!" Thinking of him will always brighten my day.

Jim was an absolute treasure. Great fun to do a show with, a truly good person and a great friend. He held his head high throughout his illness and always had a smile - he didn't want anyone to worry about him. He loved life and set a good example for us all. He will always be in our hearts.

I can't believe he's gone. The Seattle musical theatre world has lost a bright star. I will miss him so much. PAT Sibley
