Dearest Charlotte, Dutch, Annette, Susan and entire denOuter family.....I can't express to all of you enough how sorry I am to hear about losing Jim. I will always remember our families growing up together in the POCONO's and all of the memories of birthdays, cook-out's, alter boy servers, and fishing in the ponds. Rest In Peace Jimmy. JIm,
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Godspeed my friend.

Kevin has it right - sometimes words just don't work. A great friend and longtime colleague is gone very unexpectedly.
We found a lot to do together in my GE days.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim in Schenectady in the early 90's We had not seen each other for the many years since then until we ran into each other 6 months ago in Greenville. It was such a pleasure reminiscing on the projects had worked on together so many years ago, and I fondly remember how good it was to work with him.

Terri, our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Jim was such a great friend & neighbor. He was always the first to lend a helping hand when we were struggling to plant a tree, start the mower or determine our pond water circulation ratio (only Jim)! And we loved his BBQ! He will be missed.

We always had such fun at our annual 'shoot out' at the range each winter; Chatting at my desk about roller coasters; Drinking a cold one over at the watering hole and talking kids sports.
I will miss you so much.
My condolences to the family...I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a wonderful man.

Jim was a great friend, that always made time for anyone. He helped me through some tough times, just by listening and giving me a little push in the right direction. He cared very deeply for all of his family and friends. So hold your glass up high, and listen for that "Santa-like" chuckle...cheers to you my friend, until we share the next round...keep one in the home for me. And thanks for the memories and the happiest of hours. I love you brother.

My Dutch Brain Incorruptible Friend:
I am deeply saddened to have learned of your very unexpected passing yesterday from your beloved Matthew. You have been a wonderful and loyal friend of mine since our Milford Little League days. As you joyfully enter paradise, you can be so very proud of being such a faithful; caring, supportive and loving husband to Terri for nearly twenty-eight years; a protective, nurturing, generous, highly principled and very hard working role model in your proudest life achievement, as a Father, whose unconditional love for Matt, Jill, Elisa, and Kristen never wavered; a beloved Brother to Annette & Sue; a respectful, thoughtful and loving Son to your very special parents; as well as a supportive, selfless and loving Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and Friend to so many throughout your admirable life. You were the Gold Standard of being a person for others. You, my dear friend, will always remain an inspiration to all of us that were lucky enough to be a relative, friend or co-worker. Your lifelong dedication & commitment to your faith, family, friends, classmates, teachers and co-workers will be justly rewarded as the Gates of Heaven are now opened in your honor to commence your richly deserved admission to an eternal life of happiness, abundant joy, no stress, no pain and Heavenly peace. After catching up with your family members that have gone before us, please reach out to Joe Harrington and have a pint of Guinness with him so he can join in the celebration of your life so very well lived. I am going to miss you terribly Jim but know for certain that your kindred spirit will remain with me until my very last breath. Please keep an eye on me from above because I will desperately need you to sneak me in through the backdoor of Heaven while my Maker and the Devil negotiate my eternal fate.

it is less than we desire."
