Not sure what to say?

Remembering a great friend and colleague. I still carry the hand/heart piece in my purse. Time may have passed, but you are missed and thought of often. I have no doubt you are keeping the heavens alive with laughter.

It is today on Teacher's Day 5/7/2019 that I reflected upon remarkable influences in my past.

I was sorry to see this notice of Mr. Paar's passing. He was more than a teacher - he was a role model, a comedian, a story-teller, a friend, and he challenged our minds for creativity and independent thought. His guidance and passion led me to a career in Electrical Engineering.

It's sad to see he's gone, but his spirit and memory live on.

Well Jim, it's been a year. I have no doubt you are keeping the heavens in laughter and joy. I have such wonderful memories of our days at Tech. We definitely had fun back in the day. Know you are thought of often.

I was sorry to recently learn of the passing of a great teacher. Jim always pushed the limits, and personalized his instruction to the needs of every student he worked with. Having graduated in 1982, I can say that his influence continues to guide me every day. I still use the engineering skills, AND the life skills that he taught in his classes.

I am sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to come back to PA and see him in recent years, but I'm sure he knows the influence that he...

Hi. Mrs paar its iain Murray. Norman and Anns son so sorry to hear about your loss. I respected Mr paar a lot. If there's anything we can do don't hesitate to ask.

Dear Martha,

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a gentleman, teacher and friend to all who knew him. We've all known each other from high school and have many fond memories from then. Stay strong for your family and take care of yourself. Remember, memories never fade. Just close your eyes and Jim will be right beside you.

I worked with Jim for several years at Bethlehem AVTS and will never forget his contagious smile, his wit and his love for his students. Jim's methods of teaching, though sometimes unconventional and almost always comedic, held lessons for me too as a novice teacher back then. He showed me how to teach the child, not the subject. I'm sure his bright light will continue to burn well into the future within the heart and mind every student he met.
My most sincere condolences,
