Not sure what to say?

Dear Kathy and family, we love Brother Packer and we are so sad to hear of his passing. We are so grateful, though to have known him and to have spent time with him. Our lives are so much better because of his and your example. We keep you in our hearts!

Dear Kathy and family, Jerry and I are so saddened by Jim's passing. He holds a fond place in our hearts. He will be greatly missed. We know that you will be comforted in this time of great lost. We love you, Jerry and Peggy Brown

Even though it's been years...I'll always remember how Mr. Packer told amazing and hilarious stories. I second Ian's words in that he was the best role model for many of us growing up in the neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Dear Packer Family
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mom and Dad said they had a great visit with you both just a few weeks ago and now cherish the memory. I have great memories at your home in Maryland with Kristen. Our prayers are with your family. Julie Chatterton Brenchley

Dear Kathy and family, How sad we are to hear about Jim. What a fun, kind, loving, person he is. We always felt better about life after being around Jim. We remember what a great teacher he was. He'll go great teaching the gospel in the spirit world. He lived what he taught. We have so many sweet memories of your family. I know Heavenly Father will be with you to comfort you and give you guidance. We love you and our prayers will be with you. Love Steve and Donna Law

We were saddened to learn of Jim's passing. We remember manypleasant and insightful conversations with him. We'll be a bit sadder on earth, but heaven will be a better and more animated place now. Given the counsel and revelation in DC 138, I can easily image that he is busy teaching the gospel to those in the spirit world, given his vast experience teaching others here on earth. Our sincere consolences.

I'm Nanette Pace Davis, and knew your family when we all lived in Honduras. I have many fond memories of all of you, and remember Jim as a fun-loving, intelligent, wonderful person. We are so sorry to hear of his passing, and the difficulties he and all of you endured during the last several years. Our prayers are with you for comfort and peace. We send our love.

With Love at this difficult time-my prayers are with you all.

His intellect, sensitivity, COURAGE, and actual spirituality were equally off the charts. One of the best examples a young, confused kid could have while coming up, and he lived half a block down the street. I owe him a huge debt.
Utterly irreplaceable.
