I met Jim when Our Vet Group was supporting their trips to Iraq and Afganistan..He helped with moving our donated items to his unit. Got to know him over the years, with his unit, construction business, and coffee at Dodd's. Jim was Jim ! He had a lot of responsibility a the 148th Natl. Guard Unit. with all tranportation aspects. I served with Mr. Padgett for many years in Forsyth. Mr. Padgett was a man of many talents and was a very fair Warrant Officer to serve with. He had so much knowledge and willingly shared it with others. He also had a great sense of humor and I remember his big laugh. Praying for his family. RIP Mr. Jim Padgett!
