Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan and Family,

My family would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Jim and John have been a part of our family tradition for as long as Taco Casa was located on 280 and continued once it moved to Lakeshore. Jim will be missed every time we visit Taco Casa. He was genuine and truly cared about his customers and shared their lives as if they were family. He always asked me how my daughter was doing at The University and it was so much fun hearing his stories of...

Our hearts hurt along with everyone who knew & loved him like we did. So many fond memories, this space isn't long enough to list. Taco Casa is great but it won't be the same without Jim's smiling hello's & hugs ... John, you'll have to step it up. Blessings to all as you move thru this difficult time.

Jim you were a great Fraternity brother of mine and my Dad Charles Cornelius. A genuinely nice man. We will miss you!

We didn't know of Jim's passing until today and are so sad we didn't get to say "bye" or attend the memorial. Jim was definitely an encourager and a great friend. We love Taco Casa for the food but we love the B'ham Taco Casa because of Jim and John. Jim made you feel welcome as if you were returning home. We will be praying for the Page Family.

I'm so sorry that we will miss such a nice, generous and caring person. We love Taco Casa and hope they don't change a thing. Keep up the good work as Jim is still there. God is getting his recruits ready to help with the rest of us.

I will certainly miss seeing Jim at Taco Casa! I never really even knew him by name BUT he always spoke to everyone and was Very Friendly and Always knew just what to say and when to say it. He had a lot of Style & Grace! May God Bless You and Your Entire Family!

When Jim was approached about hiring young people with disabilities in his community, he was not only open to the idea but excited. Jim provided more than a work/training opportunity for these fortunate employees, he also went out of his way to teach life skills. I have never seen an employer get so invested in their young people. He helped his young employees to reach their goals by partnering with their parents (if involved), teachers and service workers. Most importantly he gave...

My boys and I will miss our long-time family friend. Jim was always smiling and made us feel like family! For this, we are forever grateful. Prayers are sent to the Page family. We are sorry we can't be in Birmingham today for the service.

We only met Jim a few times but he was always the kindest, nicest person & it was obvious to us that he adored Joan. We were lucky to see him again a few weeks ago when we visited USA from Britain & it is so sad to think we will not see his lovely face again. Thinking of all the family at this sad time
