Not sure what to say?

Funny, we just visited Lodi Cemetery and we stopped by Aunt Rose and Uncle Jim's grave (also the Johnson's, Kandra's, Sipos, Mazur) and I was thinking about Cousin Jim. Then when we got home I got an email to post on this site! I didn't realize that Jim passed on the death anniversary of my Uncle Lou, 12/17. Though he passed away 53 years ago. Merry Christmas in heaven.

We miss you and your mischief, Jim. May all who you´ve touched keep your memory alive. Thinking of you Diane.

I'm remembering my cousin Jimmy today. I still miss him, as I know you do too, Diane. Mark

I´m remembering my cousin Jimmy on the first marker-day - anniversary - of his death on December 17, 2020. He was my cousin and my friend -- common souls on separate journeys to the same destination through faith in God and a desire to be of service to others. Pictured here as a young man (first on left), at a typical family gathering, we were kindred spirits, committed to integrity, transparency, and truth in relationships and in life, rather than the roles and personas that so many...

In every family, there are people you connect with, and those you don’t. My cousin, Jimmy and I were relatives and friends, on separate journeys to the same destination. The picture I posted shows Jimmy and me attending Bobby Auerbach’s birthday party when we were kids. That was a long time ago, and I attended Jimmy’s memorial service at the Church of the Mountain in Delaware Water Gap today, June 13, 2021, on Face Book live from my home in California. We were very different personalities...

Lot's of fond memories growing up with my big Cousin Jim. Then the decades seemed to separate us until September 2017 when we connected and you came to visit me, my brother and my Dad on his birthday! My Dad was thrilled to see you and unfortunately he passed just two months later. Even though so much time had slipped by we shared many memories, a few beers and enjoyed each other's company.

Rest in peace Cuz.

Jim and I were colleagues many years ago in the Jersey City Public School system. He never passed my classroom before school started without stopping in to say good morning and chat for a bit. Jim was a dedicated educator who will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. A good man with a big heart.
Condolences to his family.

My condolences to Diane. Rest in Peace Jim. From an old friend.

The world has lost a great man. Thanks for your dedication to the children of Jersey City, especially the ELLs. My condolences to Diane on the loss of her best friend. Vaya con Dios amigo.
