By his work, Jim made significant contributions to the health and welfare of the people of Los Angeles County. He was a unique individual. To Jim's family,
I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend "Jim." Fond memories of the good times we shared in the late 60's and early 70's in Raleigh NC will forever be a part of my life. Jim was always such a kind and sweet man. I know he will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
