Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim, I'm the best man for my best friend's wedding. I've been trying to write a speech and I realized he reminds me a lot of you. You touched so many lives while you were here. You connected and uplifted and served in a way only you could do. I miss the stories you would tell. I wish I could remember more. Miss you.

I think of Jim often, and his care and concern for The WellHouse! We had become very fond of Jim and enjoyed receiving his advice and his humor! We miss him!

I think if Jim every day!! I still have and will never part with the $2.00 dollar bills he gave me over the years! Every time I open my wallet I think of him and smile! The world lost a Special man!

Sorry to say I'm just now learning about Jim's passing - on Jan. 8, 2020. I first met Jim in 1960 at the U of AL & we've remained friends for nearly 60 years! I called him not long ago & was told the number was not in service. I sent a Christmas card that was returned undelivered & also sent an e-mail yesterday that was returned. This morning I checked the obits in B'ham & saw the sad news. Years ago, Bobbi & Jim gave us our first puppy - a Cavalier, of course - who we adored. My wife Peg & I...
