I fondly remember Mr. James as person who was fair and just.I was a student at both Morehouse and Morris Brown College in the early 80's. I remember eating at Paschal 's to get away from the dorm food.I met Mr. James, and eventually worked in the Dining room. Little did I know at the time, I was dining and working in such prestigious place. We are honor to have met and my brother work for them. He work at the original Paschal on the corner of Taliferro and Hunter streets. The chicken was 52 cent a sandwich, Totally good and hot. The Lord has a good chef in heaven with him.

I was honored to meet Mr. Paschal in 1995. I was a leasing agent on a small building where Mr. Paschal wanted an office closer to home. I met him with his close friend, Mr. Russel. Little did I know the stories they would share with me that would open my eyes so much to the civil rights era as I was born in 1963. Their first account stories of their struggles to be treated as equal and how people like Mr. Parchal helped create a world where this is possible. We would talk about everything...
