Not sure what to say?

Dear Pam,
This is from your former cheerleading advisor. I was sorry to hear about your dad. We were out of town at the time. He's the reason my brother is an optometrist. I only met him a couple of times, but know you and your family will miss him. You have my sincere sympathy.

Pam,
I remember your father well, especially those days we (you, Chick and me) used to go to the Y and he would pick us up in his MG.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. God bless you and your family.

I first met Dr. Paton when I was hired as executive director of the Michigan Optometric Association in l967 and knew him until my retirement after 40 years of service in 2007. He was a very supportive member of the association and his profession and will be deeply missed in the optometric community.
Our sincere sympathy to the Paton family in his loss.

I met James at Covenant Village in 2006 as my father was his roommate for a few months. I was able to share the Gospel with him as I read to my father and him when I visited. He was a very nice man. My condolences to your family upon his passing.

Jim was a banking client of mine for many years. He was always a gentleman and a man of his word. I should also say he was one fine poker player with a great sense of humor. I have fond memories of our relationship. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Pam,
Sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure and the privilege of knowing Dr Paton while I was employed at Grand Bank. We so enjoyed his visits to the Bank and the stories he had to tell. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of his life.
