I am so sorry to hear of Alley Pat's passing.
I just found out last night.
Sending love and condolences to his family .
I got to know him from a business that he owned in the 70's.
I also remember hearing him on the radio when I was a young girl.
He was very funny , but very smart.
May you Rest In Peace Alley Pat.

I Love listening to Alley Pat with my dad, he would do an advertisement like no one I know and he would get on the business person if they didn't treat there customer right. My all time favorite is Alley Pat and Hosea Williams talk about the reason Pat hair was gray, Pat drinks alcohol and Pat would tell Hosea, your hair would be gray if he didn't use Mr and Mrs Clairol. LOL

A striking figure of a MAN. I do not bestow this title on many. We have too few of them. You were one in a million. May the Lord allow you to continue to shine brightly.

For those of us who are 'transplants' to this city, Alley Pat broke it down by enlightening us with Atlanta's history. We looked forward to his hour on radio and Television. He will be missed.
