James Pearce

I was sadden to hear of his passing. I spent several days of active duty sharing a room with Jim at times and grew to appreciate his honesty, character, love of country and humor. We shared a lot of stories both sad and funny during those days. More than once he had my back as well as I had his as a true shipmate should. No doubt I look forward to meeting him again when I will follow him across the bar.

Sorry to learn of the passing of Chief Pearce - He was a very kind and wonderful shipmate. We served together at the Reserve Unit Ft. Macon. May GOD continue to bless you and your family
