To Jim's Family
So sorry to hear of Jim's death! I worked with Jim 30 years ago when we were both just "kids" and working for GE. I have fond memories of those days and have often wondered what became of him. Sorry I missed the obit when it came out in the paper. Darlene and children, I am also sorry for the death of your father and grandfather - reading his obit is where I saw Jim's name and decided to look and see if it was the Jim I knew. Will keep you in my prayers.

Adam is one of my best friends on SM and I am very sorry that his dad died. I will mention this to my family and we will keep your family in our preyers.

To the Pearce Family and especially for Adam: Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting your father, Adam it seems to me that you have some of his fine attributes. In times of sorrow, I hope it helps to remember those things, and I am sure that picture will forever be in your mind. My sympathy to your entire family. Adam, I am always here for you if you need some ears to listen or a shoulder to lean on.

To the Pearce family:

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult and trying time.

Dear Darlene, Zac and Adam, we are so grieved with you over the loss of your precious husband and father. If there is anything at all we can do for you all you need do is let us know. Our love to you and pray that you would feel the tangible love and comfort of the Lord for you now and always. David, Cindy, Wes, Nathan, Hayden & Hayley Grove

Darlene and Family,
You don't know me, but I met Jim on an appliance newsgroup, hosted by the magazine he wrote for, I guess about 5 years ago. I finally had the great pleasure of meeting him 3 years ago at an industry convention. He talked very fondly about you and the kids and how they made him so proud.

Jim’s laid-back, intelligent approach to issues/life was very refreshing, as I learned a lot from him. He was the voice of reason for a hurting appliance industry;...
